The printer in the library is broken. We have evaluated the cost effectiveness of the printer for the past 9 months. In analyzing the cost of the lease agreement, maintenance agreement, paper, toner, and repair costs we have decided to not replace the printer.
For students in Class 164, 162 and 166 that have had access to the printer for many months we will continue to try to support printer requests. The administrative staff will need a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to print power point presentations. Effective today, they will only print in black and white, 4 slides/page, front and back. Print jobs are limited to no more than 50 pages/week. If requests become too costly or burdensome to the administrative staff we will need to stop this practice.
